Electric forklift battery
1. Use polyester fiber tubes with good elasticity, small pore size, low resistance, and high breathability;
2. Fully insulated flexible connection wire with no leakage current;
3. The valve structure that pops out the top plug has a special electrolyte level indicator;
4. Equipped with a water injection cover, it can automatically replenish water;
5. Imported high-quality inclined baffle, with many micropores, high porosity, and low resistance;
6. Using PP battery shell and cover material, resistant to impact;
The patented terminal sealing structure completely prevents board growth and liquid leakage.
Daily maintenance of electric forklifts
1. The battery should be regularly filled with distilled water (pure water).
If the electric forklift is not used for a long time, the battery should be fully charged and placed in standby mode, and maintained at a charging frequency of approximately 1 to 2 months.
When working in multiple shifts, electric forklifts require a backup battery (in continuous operation, the battery consumes quickly and the battery loss is relatively large).
When charging the battery, the charging circuit must be completely separated from the chopper, because in addition to affecting the charging of the charger, the overvoltage generated by the charger can also damage the chopper.
5. Do not place the battery horizontally, as the interior of the battery usually contains 22-28% dilute sulfuric acid. When placing the battery, the electrolyte may submerge the electrode plate and still leave a small amount of space. If the battery is placed horizontally, a part of the electrode plate will be exposed to the air, which is very inconvenient for the electrode plate of the battery. The observation hole of a regular battery or the ventilation hole at the top of the battery are very inconvenient for communication with the outside world, so the lateral discharge solution of the battery is easy to flow out.
6. Choose a graded smart charger to prevent water loss caused by overcharging.
7. Choose an efficient electric wheel hub system to reduce operating current.
8. Regularly charge or maintain a reasonable charging frequency. It is best to charge in a planned manner. For example, charging once a day or every two days.
9. Prevent storage in case of power outage, as power outage is most harmful to the battery.
Precautions for electric forklift batteries
During the charging and discharging process of the battery, the water in the electrolyte will gradually decrease due to electrolysis and evaporation, resulting in a decrease in the electrolyte level. If not replenished in a timely manner, it may shorten the service life of the battery, and distilled water should be replenished in a timely manner. Do not use pure drinking water, as pure water contains multiple trace elements that can have adverse effects on batteries.
When adding electrolyte or water to the battery, please note that the electrolyte should be 10 to 15 millimeters higher than the plate; For batteries with two red lines, the electrolyte should not exceed the red line above. Excessive electrolyte will overflow from the small holes on the battery cover. Once it flows between the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, it will form a self discharge circuit. In this case, please wipe off the electrolyte or rinse with boiling water.
If something accidentally falls into the water while adding electrolytes, do not use metal to fish. Instead, use a wooden stick to catch impurities; If fishing with iron or copper wire, metal molecules will enter the battery under the corrosion of sulfuric acid, forming self discharge and damaging the battery.
If the vehicle has been parked for more than 20 days, the negative terminal of the battery should be removed to prevent leakage accidents.
